Hello, I'm Tracy and I live
in Sunny South Florida! I have been happily married to my best friend for
13 years. I have two fabulous children - Michael, 12, and Kara,
7. My mother-in-law introduced me to scrapbooking right after getting
married. We found our way into the stamping world and I have been been
stamping for about 10+ years now. I love to do both, but find the most pleasure
in card making. I think because it is instant gratification!! I work full
time. In my spare time (gasp!) I love to read and SHOP! My husband and I
also do alot of traveling. Just say the word and I will be on the next flight!
I'm a huge facebook junkie. I love social networking. I also love to go
out! Hubby and I try to have a date night every other weekend, kid
free! I am so grateful to to be here at Crafter's Companion and hope to
create with them for a long time.
Hi, I am Dawnll
from the Midwest-actually the cold, snowy State of Wisconsin.
You could say I have been an avid crafter for almost three years. I was a
certified EK Success
Instructor for Michaels, and
I hold workshops in my home and other locations.
I am mom to three amazing children, all of them now grown, and I
added a wonderful daughter -in-law this year. My honey Don and I, who still
consider ourselves newlyweds, have a fur baby cat we call Pippie, she has been my partner
through many crafting sessions.
I enjoy stamping, creating scrapbook layouts, altered art, and
coloring with markers. I love discovering and working with new products. My
style would be considered free spirit and a cross of shabby chic, however my
style is always evolving.
Did I mention I was an avid paper crafter? I say I learn something
new every day .I am always excited to try something new and share what I can
with the next person.
Let me say I am thrilled to be asked to join this amazing team- I
know it is going to be a great company to work with.
I am a woman of
faith, married to a wonderful man, Arthur, and we have two adorable children.
My friend Marge introduced me to the art of stamping in 2002 and I've been
hooked ever since! I started teaching workshops. In addition to enjoying
stamping, I love to paint and color. I received Copic Design Certification in
2008, and Intermediate Copic Design Certification in 2010. I received Tombow
Certification in 2011. I work in an office during the day, and stamp, color,
and paint in the evenings and on weekends. I love being around crafters because
they are fun, positive people. I'm so excited to be part of the Crafter's
Companion Design Team!! I really dig their designs and products!
I live in O'Fallon,
Illinois with my husband, 6 yr old son and our English Cocker Spaniel Holly. I
am a SAHM who loves to craft digitally and with
actual hands on
products. I have been married for 12 years to my husband whom I met during
college. We have lived in 3 states and in England, due to my husband
being in the Air Force.
I attended Stephens College and recieved a degree in Mass Communications and
Photography (sadly they didn't have digital back then!) and then I went to the
Art Institute of Dallas for desktop publishing and graphic design. It seems the
industry has changed so much since the early 90's I feel I could do it all
again and learn totally different things.
When I am not crafting I
like baking artisian breads, figuring how how to create healthy but safe meals
for those of us with allergies, creating designer totes and fiddling around
with Photoshop Elements.
In September we will be
free of the military and looking for a job as a civilians.
I have a great life and
try to stay focused on that. I just wish I had figured out all this crafty
stuff in my 20's!
I live in York, PA with my husband of 20yrs and my 3 teenage children. We have many fur animals as well, 3 dogs, 4 birds and a few cats. My crafting addiction came about when my neighbor dragged me to a scrapbooking weekend about 5 yrs ago. Once I got started, I was hooked. I started making my own cards when I couldn't find what I wanted at the Hallmark store about 3yrs ago. And once I discovered rubber stamps and digital images, I have not been able to stop. Guess I'm a stamping addict !!!! I really enjoy making cards and sharing what
I have created and hope to inspire someone else to give it a try. I am always looking for new techniques to learn so I can broaden my knowledge and share with others. I am so excited to be able to craft for Crafter's Companion and meeting others that share in my crafting addiction.
I was born on Mother's Day in 1960. For most of my life, I have claimed Frankfort, Kentucky as home. I married my husband, David, in 1983. Our family has grown over the last few years. We were adopted by tuxedo cats Laverne and her sister Shirley in 2007. Then in 2010, we were adopted again. This time by Lenny (an orange tabby) and his sister Squiggy (a Tortoiseshell). In the spring of 2011, we brought a family member's cat to our home. His name is Bob and he is a gray and white tabby. All my children have paws.
I worked in state government from 1979 until retiring in August 2006. I have been crafting in one media or another for most of my life. I have been stamping since sometime in the early 90's. My main interest at this time is paper crafting.
My place of residence is in the country nearby New Ulm, Minnesota (about 10 miles away) and the famous Sleepy Eye (where I grew up) also about 10 miles away. Sleepy Eye was named after an old Sioux Indian Chief. His Indian name meant “droopy eye lids”. Most everyone remembers the name from “Little House on the Prairie”. I enjoy living in the country and especially our log home. My husband Marlin and I farm and also my husband has a trucking business. We have two children in college. Amanda and Joe. We have chickens (don't laugh-I'm really a city girl) a new puppy named Boo-Boo (Yogi's pal) and a cat. We see lots of wild life where we live.
My hobbies are reading (I always have a book going), of course stamping, skiing, walking and I love to hunt morel mushrooms in the spring. My favorite authors are Reynolds Price, Sue Monk Kidd, Elizabeth Berg, Ken Follet....I do love to read did I mention that?!
I started stamping back in 96 when my youngest son was just out of diapers. A friend of mine showed me a simple embossed image and I was so intrigued by it. Looking back it was so simple...
I've been published in Rubber Stamp Madness, VSN, Crafts and Things, The Sampler and some of the magazines which are no longer around.
I'm excited about being on the design team and hope my contributions will help make it a success.
I am married to the love of my life for over 10 years now. I have a beautiful daughter, who can paint, draw (like her papaw) and is a tattoo artist. My stepson designed my blog I and is in the process of writing a book. I have a kitty cat named Spooker, so named because we found her on Halloween. I have been hooked on Crafters Companion for a while now, and love it. I love to bake, quilt, paint, make cards, and learn all I can about other crafts. I just did my first tutorial on how to make candy. The tutorial's are great fun, I hope to do more. My mother started me out on the love of creating new things,as soon as I was old enough to sit on her lap and sew. I thank her for that. I get on Youtube at night and go to different sites, like Stampin Up and Stamp T.V. I learn new techniques and tips, then pass them along to family and friends. The first scrapbooking product I bought was the Crafters Companion's Ultimate tool, while watching HSN. It has snowballed from there. Crafters Companion was one of the first places I learned how to buy on line. I am very new at this and I am loving the adventure.
I began stamping over a decade ago, and have not looked back yet! It's the perfect mix of both creativity and practical usage for resultant greeting cards and gifts. I was a Stampin' Up! demonstrator for 5 years, and had my work published on several occassions in The Rubber Stamper and Rubber Stamp Madness magazines.
I just retired from a 32 year career in telecommunications. While working full time, stamping provided a much needed stress release. I'm looking forward to transitioning to a part-time job and having a lot more time to design and create.
On the home front, I live in the Chicago suburbs, serve on my townhome association Board, and have two grown sons and a beautiful German Shepherd mix.
Hello everyone! My name is Stephanie Lee and I am thrilled and honored to be guest designer for Crafter's Companion this month.
I am blessed to be married for almost 14 years to a man who is wonderfully tolerant of me and my paper and ink passion. We have two great kids – Shawn who is 6 and Emma who is 2. I am also originally from Singapore, emigrated to Australia with family in my teens and now to USA for work in Corporate America. My husband and I have been in the US for over 15 years. I discovered scrapbooking and card making 6 years ago when my son was born. He inspired me to start creating. For me, there is something liberating about experimenting with different materials to see what new and special things I can come up with. Since then, I have had some wonderful opportunities to earn a living papercrafting – selling my greeting cards through my own company, Arty Carty Handmade Cards.
I live with my hubby and darling 4 year old daughter, a.k.a Peanut. I've been crafting all my life, quilting for 13 years, digital scrapbooking for 2, and cardmaking/digistamping for ~a year.
I am Stacy Harper-Watson and I live in sunny Las Vegas, Nevada . I am a SAHM to 5 fun and crazy kids. They range in age from 3 to 10. I am lucky to have been married to my best friend for the last 16 years. And I am luckier still to have found my passion….and that passion is scrapping. I have always been a crafter but it was only last year that I found what I really loved to do! Scrapping lets me record our family history for this and future generations, it lets me make cards and homemade paper crafts to share with friends and family and it gives me a chance to be a little creative each day. I just love it so much!! And I am excited to be able to share some of my creativity with you here at Crafters Companion.
