Angel Policy  by  Crafter's Companion Staff
Crafter’s Companion’s huge range of craft products have been designed for crafters to be used for making cards and other paper-based crafts. All of the products produced by Crafter’s Companion are created using original artwork licensed to Crafter’s Companion. All the elements available in our range come under this Fair Usage Policy. Crafter’s Companion and the Licensing companies want you to get the most value out of the range, so give you permission to use the products for creating personal and resalable items as long as:

- Items are crafted by hand (no mechanical reproduction in any form is permitted)

- Items are sold to raise funds for local establishments (e.g. local schools, hospitals, community centres), or for registered charities

- Items are not sold for large-scale commercial gain (i.e. no more than 200 sold in any 12-month period)

- Items are not promoted or sold online at any time

- Items are not promoted or sold through retail outlets at any time

- Items sold give credit to Crafter’s Companion on the back

- Designs are not used as company logos, trademarks, or personal stationery

Credit Cards  by  Customer Service
We accept the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard,  American Express and Discover. There is no surcharge for using your credit card to make purchases. Please be sure to provide your exact billing address and telephone number (i.e. the address and phone number your credit card bank has on file for you). Incorrect information will cause a delay in processing your order and may also cause the order to be declined by your bank. Your credit card will be billed when you place your order. Out of stock items, shipping adjustments or other credits and charges will be applied when your order is shipped. A final invoice will be included with your order which will reflect all final charges/credits.

Money Orders, Cashier’s Checks, Company Checks, & Personal Checks  by  Customer Service
We accept money orders, cashier’s checks, personal checks, and company checks in U.S. Dollars only. Orders are processed upon receipt of a money order or cashier’s check. For personal and company checks, please allow up to 10 banking days after receipt for clearance of funds before the order is processed. We cannot guarantee the availability of a product by the time funds clear or payment is received. We will charge a $25 fee on all returned checks. To place your order and pay by check or money order please give us a call at 1-800-399-5035 so that we can provide you with the correct total amount to send in. Multiple Product Orders  by  Customer Service
For a multiple product order, we will make every attempt to ship all products contained in the order at the same time. Products that are unavailable at the time of shipping will be shipped as they become available, unless you inform us otherwise. You will only be charged for products contained in a given shipment, plus any applicable shipping charges. You will only be charged for shipping at the rate quoted to you on your purchase receipt. The entirety of this shipping charge may be applied to the first product(s) shipped on a multiple shipment order.

Order Acceptance Policy  by  Sales Department
Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. Crafter's Companion reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason or to supply less than the quantity you ordered of any item.

These Conditions will supersede any terms and/or conditions you include with any purchase order, regardless of whether Crafter's Companion signs them or not. We reserve the right to make changes to this site and these Conditions at any time.

Out-of-Stock Products  by  Customer Service
Out of stock products will be credited to the card you used for the order. These items will not be shipped to you when they come back into stock and should be re-ordered. If you would like an estimate on when the item will return to stock or would like to place an order for those specific items to ship when they become available please give us a call at 1-800-399-5035.
 
You may also be presented with the option to hold your entire order until the item is received and available to ship. You have the right to cancel your order at any time prior to shipping.

Publication Incentive Program  by  Crafter's Companion Staff

Crafter’s Companion appreciates the submission of projects, cards and reviews to magazines using our products and we are pleased to announce our first ever Publication Incentive Program. We understand that some of these submissions can takes hours of work and vary based upon the complexity or volume of information you submit. Because of this, we have drawn up a few basic guidelines in determining the value of the incentive you will receive. These awards are intended for projects, cards or editorials submitted to major publications such as Paper Crafts, Paper Creations, Scrap And Stamp, Rubber Stamp Madness, Creating Keepsakes or other similarly sized magazines. If the publication you are submitting to is not listed here you are welcome to email us for additional information by contacting Jennie Black, our Director of Education – jennie@crafterscompanion.com.  

Primary placement – (i.e. Magazine Cover)  $75.00 CC gift certificate
Must feature CC products as the main focus of the project.

Large feature – (one or two page write up)   $50.00 CC gift certificate
Features CC products as the main focus of the write up.

Featured Card, 3-d project, scrapbook page  - 2 free stamp sets (up to $40 in value)
Primary location in publication with complete description of products used.

Basic Publication   - 1 free stamp set (up to $20 in value)
Small publication or card posted in bulk postings such as Take Ten Magazine, Designed to Color, or cards listed in color/sketch challenge,  or small project without complete product description or write up.

Internet only publication
We do not currently have an award for internet only publications.

*Special feature articles and write-ups or book publication will be determined on an individual basis.

Submission Guidelines

  • Double check to make sure that Crafter’s Companion has been properly credited in the publication.
  • Complete the form at the bottom of the Publication Incentive Program Packet (Available for download by clicking here)
  • Submit a color copy of the article or project and copy of the magazine cover.
  • All stamps and products used in your submission must be current products available on our Crafter’s Companion U.S. website. If Spectrum Noir Markers have been used it would be extremely useful if the particular color numbers are listed.
  • Digital picture of actual project if at all possible – can be emailed. 
  • Shipping will be paid by CC for all USA shipments, international shipping of stamp sets can be paid by personal credit card or check (please call us for a shipping total if we are sending you stamp sets).
  • Items will be approved or adjusted to the proper category by the CC staff and awards will be mailed by standard mail.
  • Multiple submissions require a separate form filled out for each.
  • We must receive application within 60 days of the publication date. 
  • No negative comments or insinuations are allowed for any brand of product. (i.e. making comments that would lead the reader to believe that we are being negative towards a competitor).

 *** DEFECTIVE OR DAMAGED PRODUCT ***
We will gladly accept the return of products due to defects in manufacturing and/or workmanship for 30 days from the date you receive your order. This includes products that may have been damaged during transit. You MUST call us for authorization before returning the item(s). Anything received without prior authorization will be returned to you and/or refused. Please contact us by calling 1-800-399-5035 or 1-714-630-2444. If we ask you to return the product we will pay the return shipping charges. We will not refund your money or give you credit on defective or damaged merchandise. Your claim will be settled by shipping you the same product free from damage or defects.

 ***IF YOU RECEIVED THE WRONG PRODUCT ***
Fulfillment mistakes that we make resulting in the shipment of incorrect product to you will also be accepted for return 30 days from the date you receive the product. You MUST call us to report the missing or incorrect item. Anything received without prior authorization will be returned to you and/or refused. Please contact us by calling 1-800-399-5035 or 1-714-630-2444. If we ask you to return the product we will pay the return shipping charges. We will not refund your money or give you credit on product not originally received. Your claim will be settled by shipping you the correct product.

 ***IF YOU CHANGE YOUR MIND OR DO NOT WANT A PRODUCT ORDERED***
If you receive a product and change your mind on the purchase, you are able to return the product within 30 days from the time it is received for a refund of the price you paid for the item and/or exchange it. We will not reimburse any shipping charges and you must pay for the item to be returned to us. You MUST call us for authorization before returning the item(s). Anything received without prior authorization will be returned to you and/or refused. Please contact us by calling 1-800-399-5035 or 1-714-630-2444.
 
 ***IMPORTANT***

If you are returning a product for ANY REASON, you MUST call us in advance for authorization. Return authorizations will NOT be accepted by email. If you are not given a return authorization number over the phone by one of our customer service staff, then your return is NOT AUTHORIZED and will be refused when it arrives to us and you will be responsible for all shipping charges.

**30 days from the time your item is received is defined as 30 days from the time our tracking information shows that you've received an item or starting 1 week from the date we ship your order to you. In some cases we will allow 2 weeks from the date we ship your order to you if it was shipped to an international address.

Shipping Policy  by  Alicia Lester
Shipping Time -- Most orders received will ship within 3-7 business days. Orders are not processed or shipped on Saturday or Sunday. In some cases shipping times may be longer based on the size of the order, particular items or during busy holidays.
 
We cannot guarantee when an order will arrive and are not responsible for delays incurred by the shipping carrier. Consider any shipping or transit time offered to you only as an estimate. We encourage you to order in a timely fashion to avoid delays caused by shipping or product availability.

Taxes  by  Billing Department
Our Store shall automatically charge and withhold the applicable sales tax for orders to be delivered to addresses within the states of Florida and California. For orders shipped to other states, you are solely responsible for all sales or other taxes.
 
If you are purchasing the items from our website for the purpose of Resale (i.e. wholesale customers), we require a resale license to remove any taxes levied by the State of Florida and California.
 
All international orders may be subject to import taxes and duties. Crafter's Companion is not responsible for duties or any form of import taxes levied by your government, shipping carrier or other entity. Please check with your local government for specific rules and regulations regarding taxes.

Typographical Errors  by  Crafter's Companion Staff
In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information received from our suppliers, our Store shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. Our Store shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, Our Store shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price
