Fair Usage Policy

Crafter’s Companion’s huge range of craft products have been designed for crafters to be used for making cards and other paper-based crafts. All of the products produced by Crafter’s Companion are created using original artwork licensed to Crafter’s Companion. All the elements available in our range come under this Fair Usage Policy. Crafter’s Companion and the Licensing companies want you to get the most value out of the range, so give you permission to use the products for creating personal and resalable items as long as the following terms are met:

For all products designed by Crafter’s Companion (including but not limited to all Sheena Douglass, Die’sire, Gemini, Embossalicious, Sara Davies Signature collections or Crafter’s Companion designs which note a specific designer on the package, ie Stamps by Chloe, Stacey Barras, Donna Ratcliff, etc):

- Items are sold or gifted as completely finished, immediately usable or giftable projects (i.e. the purchaser or recipient would immediately be able to sign the card or use it as a gift for someone else - no other assembly would be required)

- Items are crafted by hand (no mechanical reproduction in any form is permitted)

- Items are not sold or gifted in “kit” format that end users would then assemble themselves

- Please note: for products that fall under this category, you MAY sell online, in a shop, for charity purposes, etc. There are no selling restrictions on products designed by Crafter’s Companion as outlined above.

For all third-party licensed products (including but not limited to ranges such as Downton Abbey, The Snowman, etc):

- Items are crafted by hand (no mechanical reproduction in any form is permitted)

- Items are sold to raise funds for local establishments (e.g. local schools, hospitals, community centres), or for registered charities

- Items are not sold for large-scale commercial gain (i.e. no more than 200 sold in any 12-month period)

- Items are not promoted or sold online at any time

- Items are not promoted or sold through retail outlets at any time

- Items sold give credit to Crafter's Companion on the back

- Designs are not used as company logos, trademarks, or personal stationery

Credit Cards

We accept the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. There is no surcharge for using your credit card to make purchases. Please be sure to provide your exact billing address and telephone number (i.e. the address and phone number your credit card bank has on file for you). Incorrect information will cause a delay in processing your order and may also cause the order to be declined by your bank. Your credit card will be billed when you place your order. Out of stock items, shipping adjustments or other credits and charges will be applied when your order is shipped. A final invoice will be included with your order which will reflect all final charges/credits.

Money Orders, Cashier’s Checks, Company Checks, & Personal Checks

We accept money orders, cashier’s checks, personal checks, and company checks in U.S. Dollars only. Orders are processed upon receipt of a money order or cashier’s check. For personal and company checks, please allow up to 10 banking days after receipt for clearance of funds before the order is processed. We cannot guarantee the availability of a product by the time funds clear or payment is received. We will charge a $25 fee on all returned checks. Multiple Product Orders

For a multiple product order, we will make every attempt to ship all products contained in the order at the same time. Products that are unavailable at the time of shipping will be shipped as they become available, unless you inform us otherwise. You will only be charged for products contained in a given shipment, plus any applicable shipping charges. You will only be charged for shipping at the rate quoted to you on your purchase receipt. The entirety of this shipping charge may be applied to the first product(s) shipped on a multiple shipment order.

Order Acceptance Policy

Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. Crafter's Companion reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason or to supply less than the quantity you ordered of any item.

Other Conditions

These Conditions will supersede any terms and/or conditions you include with any purchase order, regardless of whether Crafter's Companion signs them or not. We reserve the right to make changes to this site and these Conditions at any time.

Out-of-Stock Products

Out of stock products will be credited to the card you used for the order. These items will not be shipped to you when they come back into stock and should be re-ordered. If you would like an estimate on when the item will return to stock or would like to place an order for those specific items to ship when they become available please give us a call at 1-800-399-5035. You may also be presented with the option to hold your entire order until the item is received and available to ship. You have the right to cancel your order at any time prior to shipping.


We will gladly accept the return of products due to defects in manufacturing and/or workmanship for 7 days from the date you receive your order. This includes products that may have been damaged during transit. You MUST call us for authorization before returning the item(s). Anything received without prior authorization will be returned to you and/or refused. Please contact us by calling 1-800-399-5035 or 1-714-630-2444. If we ask you to return the product we will pay the return shipping charges. We will not refund your money or give you credit on defective or damaged merchandise. Your claim will be settled by shipping you the same product free from damage or defects.

Fulfillment mistakes that we make resulting in the shipment of incorrect product to you will also be accepted for return 7 days from the date you receive the product. You MUST call us to report the missing or incorrect item. Anything received without prior authorization will be returned to you and/or refused. Please contact us by calling 1-800-399-5035 or 1-714-630-2444. If we ask you to return the product we will pay the return shipping charges. We will not refund your money or give you credit on product not originally received. Your claim will be settled by shipping you the correct product.

If you receive a product and change your mind on the purchase, you are able to return the product within 7 days from the time it is received for a refund of the price you paid for the item and/or exchange it. We will not reimburse any shipping charges and you must pay for the item to be returned to us. You MUST call us for authorization before returning the item(s). Anything received without prior authorization will be returned to you and/or refused. Please contact us by calling 1-800-399-5035 or 1-714-630-2444. ***IMPORTANT*** If you are returning a product for ANY REASON, you MUST call us in advance for authorization. Return authorizations will NOT be accepted by email. If you are not given a return authorization number over the phone by one of our customer service staff, then your return is NOT AUTHORIZED and will be refused when it arrives to us and you will be responsible for all shipping charges.

**7 days from the time your item is received is defined as 7 days from the time our tracking information shows that you've received an item or starting 1 week from the date we ship your order to you. In some cases we will allow 2 weeks from the date we ship your order to you if it was shipped to an international address.

Shipping Policy

Shipping Time -- Most orders received will ship within 3-7 business days. Orders are not processed or shipped on Saturday or Sunday. In some cases shipping times may be longer based on the size of the order, particular items or during busy holidays.

 Free Shipping -- Free shipping is valid ONLY within the continental US orders over $50.

We cannot guarantee when an order will arrive and are not responsible for delays incurred by the shipping carrier. Consider any shipping or transit time offered to you only as an estimate. We encourage you to order in a timely fashion to avoid delays caused by shipping or product availability.

Our Store shall automatically charge and withhold the applicable sales tax for orders to be delivered to addresses within the states of Florida and California. For orders shipped to other states, you are solely responsible for all sales or other taxes.

If you are purchasing the items from our website for the purpose of Resale (i.e. wholesale customers), we require a resale license to remove any taxes levied by the State of Florida and California.

All international orders may be subject to import taxes and duties. Crafter's Companion is not responsible for duties or any form of import taxes levied by your government, shipping carrier or other entity. Please check with your local government for specific rules and regulations regarding taxes.

Typographical Errors

In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information received from our suppliers, our Store shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. Our Store shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, Our Store shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price
