Today we have a tutorial from Lori showing you how to create this gorgeous little sweet treat box! Wouldn’t these be great as wedding favours? Follow Lori’s instructions below to create some yourself!
Crafter’s Companion Supplies:
Other Supplies: VersaMark Ink Pad, White Embossing Powder, Anti-static Pouch, Baker’s Twine
Black Rhinestone, Dimensional Foam Adhesive, Heat Embossing Gun, Die cutting/Embossing Machine
Step 1: Cut two 1 ½” x 7” pieces of Centura Pearl. Place the Boxer Board (inches side facing up) on the Ultimate Pro. Place the short edge of each strip against the rest of the box lid (handle side of the Ultimate) and score at 1 ½”, 3” 4 ½” and 6”.
Step 2: Crease and burnish all the score lines.
Step 3: Place adhesive tape on the smaller panel end of each strip and secure together.
Step 4: Place chocolate truffle (or desired treat) in one of the cubes. While keeping the candy-filled panel slightly folded, slide it into the other cube.
Step 5: Adjust the inside cube as needed to square things up and form the complete box.
Step 6: Die cut flower and leaves.
Step 7: Stamp and white heat emboss sentiment on strip of black cardstock. TIP: Before stamping, treat the cardstock with an anti-static pouch.
Step 8: Wrap bakers twine around cube.
Step 9: Add black rhinestone to center of die cut flower. Layer the flower and leaves on top of sentiment tag with dimensional foam tape. Attach to cube with dimensional foam tape.
