Show someone you care by creating this heartfelt wall hanging project. Featuring a sky full of stars and a beautiful moon with a loving sentiment, it’s the perfect gift for a friend or loved one. Take a look at the steps below to create your own!

You will need:
- A5 black mount board
- 2 x watercolour card
- Centura Pearl Snow White with Hint of Silver
- Circle die
- Ribbon
- Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pens in Onyx Black, Sea Spray, Cornflower Blue, Pistachio, Amethyst, Magnolia, Moonstone and Silver
Step 1
Punch holes into the top of the black card for hanging ribbon. Punch one central hole at the bottom to thread the ribbon through as decoration.
Step 2
To create your ‘space’ sky, spritz watercolour card with water, making sure the whole surface is wet. Squeeze the Pistachio Sparkle Pen out on to the wet card in a few random places.
Step 3
Squeeze the Cornflower Blue Sparkle Pen out on to the wet card in a few random places.
Step 4
Squeeze the Magnolia Sparkle Pen out on to the wet card in a few random places. Remember to wet the card again if it starts to dry out.
Step 5
Now squeeze the Amethyst Sparkle Pen out on to the wet card in a few random places.
Step 6
Lastly, squeeze the Onyx Black Sparkle Pen out on to the wet card in a few random places, making sure to cover around the edges. Leave to dry.
Step 7
Cut a strip of card roughly 15cm x 3cm. Write or stamp on your favourite sentiment. We chose ‘love you to the moon and back’. Add a little Sea Spray Sparkle Pen to ends.
Step 8
Wet an A6 piece of watercolour card, and add random squeezes of Moonstone and Silver Sparkle Pen. Allow it to dry.
Step 9
Use an 8cm Circle Die to cut this newly dried piece of card to form a moon.
Step 10
Tear around the edges of the Centura Pearl card to form the first mat and layer. Stick this to black mount board at jaunty angle – we used foam pads to create depth. Now tear around the edges of the dried ‘space’ sky and stick this on top of the Centura Pearl at an opposite jaunty angle.
Step 11
Finally, add your moon and sentiment banner.
