It’s time for the second installment of our Birthday Week projects! These have been designed to help you get the most out of your free gifts and provide a little bit of inspiration.
For day two, we’re showing off the Garden Party Die set, which you’re able to get your hands on today (October 18th) if you spend over £10 on the site. This set contains five different dies to help you add adorable imagery to your papercraft projects, like flowers and birds.
Take a look through this post to see how to create a card like the one below, plus an extra suggestion of how to use another die from the set at the end!
You will need:
- Garden Party Die set (free gift)
- 5″ x 5″ white card blank
- Lilac, green, purple and white cardstock
- Floral patterned paper
- 3D adhesive foam
- Adhesive gems
- Collall All Purpose Glue
Die cut two foliage sprigs from green cardstock. Die cut two flowers in lilac and purple cardstock.
Remove the centre of the lilac die cut flower and adhere it into the centre of the purple flower to create contrast.
Use adhesive foam to attach the purple flower and leaves to a 3″ x 3″ piece of white cardstock. Then mat and layer this on to a 3.5″ x 3.5″ piece of lilac cardstock.
Using more adhesive foam, mat and layer this panel on to a piece of your favourite floral patterned paper, then mat and layer on to more lilac and purple cardstock to complete the full panel.
Attach the panel to the front of your card black, then add adhesive gems.
