Scrapbooking is a great way to preserve cherished memories and create something special to treasure for years to come. But where to start? Follow our easy guide to create a beautiful scrapbook page, with your favourite photograph as the centrepiece!

We’ve used Gemini Nesting Frame dies to create a layered effect, so your photos, pictures and souvenirs will really stand out!

You will need:

Step-by-step instructions:

  • Take a piece of paper from the Nature’s Garden Farmhouse 12” x 12” paper pad and ink the edges – this will form the base for your scrapbook layout.
  • Use a Gemini machine to die cut two Scallop Edge Rectangle Frames and two Cross Stitch Square Frames from two shades of pale brown card. Ink the edges and attach to your scrapbook page as shown.
  • Take your photograph and layer onto a slightly larger piece of pale brown card. Die cut a Ditsy Floral Rectangle Frame and attach your photograph onto it. Use foam pads to attach to the centre of your page.
  • Die cut your sentiments in both pale brown and darker brown card. Ink the edges of the pale brown pieces. Layer together, offsetting the darker piece slightly to create a drop shadow effect.
  • Use the Foliage Die set to cut out leaf shapes from green card. Attach around and under the photograph.
  • Use scissors or a craft knife to fussy cut one of the wreath designs from the vellum pad and glue under the edges of the photo.
  • Cut out two hearts from the vellum pad and use foam pads to attach onto your page alongside the sentiment pieces.
