Organizing your crafting paper with the Paper Junkie Paper Storage Boxes, Paper Pockets and Shut Your Flap labeling tabs!

Paper can easily be the most overwhelming supply in your paper crafting stash. It all stacks together neatly, but then you can’t see it to know what you’ve got.

Vertical storage is the best way to organize paper – remember my mantra, “If it’s horizontal, it’s a pile. If it’s vertical, it’s a file.”  It’s always easier to look through a file. If you haven’t gone vertical – make your life easier and crafting more enjoyable – go vertical!

Our Paper Junkie Paper Storage boxes will fit in most “cube” style storage shelving. They’ll sit on an open shelf or even fit on your Totally-Tiffany Paper Cart. Most importantly, they’ll move your paper from a pile to a file.

Paper Junkie boxes are the best paper storage option if you have a dedicated room or space where your paper has a permanent home. These boxes are not designed to be portable.

Each Paper Junkie Paper Storage Box set includes 5 Paper Junkie paper storage boxes – you’ll be able to organize up to 2500 sheets of paper (500 sheets per box) in one set of Paper Junkie Paper Boxes – remember, cardstock can be significantly thicker than paper so expect to organize 250-350 sheets of cardstock per box depending on the thickness of your cardstock.

Once you’ve loaded your Paper Junkie Paper Storage boxes, you’ll want to add some labels so you can easily locate exactly what you need. Try our Small Shut Your Flap labeling tabs. They’re repositionable, lightweight and won’t damage your paper. Add labels for categories of paper – holidays, themes (birthday, travel, etc.) and color.

The final step  – add Paper Pockets.

Paper pockets can be used in a variety of ways to enhance and simplify your organization system.

  • They’re ideal for keeping coordinating scraps stored with your paper.
  • If you’re trying to protect delicate papers like vellum – you’ll love the layer of protection the paper pockets add.
  • Keeping entire paper collections together is easy – a Paper Pocket will hold up to 15 sheets of paper or 10 sheets of cardstock.
  • If you’ve got glittery papers that “shed” glitter onto other things – use a Paper Pocket to keep their sparkle contained.
  • Prevent damage to your die cut designer papers by slipping them into a Paper Pocket.

Okay – now that you know all about my Paper Junkie Paper Storage Boxes, Paper Pockets and label tabs, you probably want to learn how to organize your paper!

To do that, you’ll first need to understand the 4 Section System – you can read more about that here.

Next, watch a video.

Thanks so much for stopping by today to learn more about organizing your paper.
