Give Something Away Day: Terms & Conditions

Platforms: 

Facebook, Instagram and YouTube Promotion Date(s): Wednesday 15th July – Wednesday 16th July 2026 (see individual sections for exact timings)

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern entry into three separate promotions being run alongside one another (together, the "Promotions"):

• Promotion A: Social Post Giveaways (two prizes — public post, and private Facebook Group)
• Promotion B: Livestream Comment Giveaway
• Promotion C: Order Bonus Points Draw

Each Promotion has its own entry mechanic, prize, and (where relevant) eligibility rules, set out in the sections below. Sections 7–15 ("General Terms") apply to all three Promotions. By entering any Promotion, Entrants agree to be bound by the Terms applicable to that Promotion and the General Terms.

Promotion A: Social Post Giveaways

Two separate voucher prizes are being given away as part of Promotion A: one via a public post on the Crafter’s Companion Facebook/Instagram page, and one via a post in the I’m a Crafter’s Companion private Facebook Group. These are treated as two distinct draws (A1 and A2) with two separate winners, each entered via a different method as set out below.

A1: Public Page Post

Prize: One (1) website voucher worth £150 (GBP) for UK winners or $150 (USD) for US winners, redeemable on the Crafter’s Companion website.

Promotion Period: Opens 8:00am (UK time) Wednesday 15th July, closes 8:00am (UK time) Wednesday 16th July 2026.

How to Enter: During the Promotion Period, on the designated public Facebook and/or Instagram post, Entrants must:

1. Like the post;
2. Comment on the post (as directed in the post caption); and
3. Share the post (via Story, Feed share, or as instructed in the caption).

Only one entry per person, regardless of how many times the steps are completed. No purchase is necessary to enter or win.

Winner Selection: One winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries within five (5) business days of the Promotion Period closing, and notified via comment reply.

A2: Private Facebook Group Post

Prize: One (1) website voucher worth £150 (GBP) for UK winners or $150 (USD) for US winners, redeemable on the Crafter’s Companion website.

Promotion Period: Opens 8:00am (UK time) Wednesday 15th July, closes 8:00am (UK time) Wednesday 16th July 2026.

How to Enter: During the Promotion Period, Entrants must be an existing or new member of the Sponsor's official private Facebook Group ("[Insert Group Name]") and, on the designated post within that Group:

1. Like the post; and
2. Comment on the post (as directed in the post caption).

A share is not required to enter A2. Only one entry per person, regardless of how many times the steps are completed. Entrants must remain a member of the Group at the time of winner selection in order to be eligible to receive the prize. No purchase is necessary to enter or win.

Winner Selection: One winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries within five (5) business days of the Promotion Period closing, and notified via comment reply within the Group.

Promotion B: Livestream Comment Giveaway

Prize: One (1) website voucher worth £150 (GBP) for UK winners or $150 (USD) for US winners, redeemable on the Crafter’s Companion website.

Promotion Period: Throughout Crafter’s TV livestream shows on Wednesday 15th July 2026, during any official livestream broadcast by the Crafter’s Companion on Facebook and/or YouTube. *note: only applicable during live shows, not replays.

How to Enter: Entrants must post at least one comment on the Sponsor's official livestream, on either Facebook Live or YouTube Live, at any point during a livestream broadcast on the specified date. Comments do not need to relate to any specific topic unless otherwise stated at the time of the livestream. Multiple comments do not increase chances of winning; only one entry per person will be counted regardless of the number of comments posted or the number of livestreams commented on that day. No purchase is necessary to enter or win.

Winner Selection: One winner will be selected at random from all eligible commenters across that day's livestream(s) within five (5) business days of the promotion closing, and notified via comment reply and/or direct message on the platform used to enter.

Promotion C: Order Bonus Points Draw

Reward: 100 bonus loyalty points, credited to the winning customer's account. Points have no cash or monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and can only be redeemed in accordance with the Club Inspire Loyalty Programme Terms.

Promotion Period: Orders placed between 8am UK Wednesday 15th July 2026 and 8am UK on Thursday 16th July 2026.

How to Enter: Entry is automatic for any customer who places an order through the Crafter’s Companion website during the Promotion Period. No separate entry step is required.

Free Alternative Method of Entry (US Entrants Only): No purchase is necessary to enter or win this Promotion. US residents may enter without making a purchase by emailing prizes@crafterscompanion.co.uk during the Promotion Period. The email must clearly state that the entrant (i) resides in the US, and (ii) is entering the Give Something Away Day bonus points draw. One free entry per person via this method; the Sponsor reserves the right to disregard duplicate or non-compliant emails. Free entries are given equal weighting to entries generated by a qualifying purchase in the random draw.

Winner Selection: Fifty (50) winning orders will be selected at random from all qualifying orders placed during the Promotion Period, within five business days of the Promotion Period closing. Winners will be notified via the email address or account associated with the qualifying order.

Eligibility note: UK entrants must complete a qualifying purchase during the Promotion Period to be entered. US entrants may enter either via a qualifying purchase or via the Free Alternative Method of Entry above. See Section 8 (General Eligibility) for age and residency requirements, which apply equally to this Promotion.

General Terms (apply to Promotions A, B and C)

7. Facebook, Instagram & YouTube Disclaimer

These Promotions are in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram (Meta Platforms, Inc.), or YouTube (Google LLC). By entering, Entrants acknowledge they are providing information to the Sponsor, not to Meta or Google. Any questions, comments, or complaints must be directed to the Sponsor.

8. Eligibility

8.1 All Promotions are open to legal residents of the United Kingdom and the United States (including the District of Columbia), aged 18 years or older at the time of entry, except:

• employees, contractors, and agents of [Insert Company Name] and their immediate family or household members;
• residents of any jurisdiction where the relevant Promotion is prohibited or restricted by law.

8.2 Entrants for Promotions A1 and B must have a valid, public Facebook, Instagram, or YouTube account, as applicable. Entrants for A2 must be a member of the Sponsor's private Facebook Group. Entrants for Promotion C must place a qualifying order via [Insert Website] or use the Free Alternative Method of Entry.

8.3 The Sponsor reserves the right to verify eligibility and disqualify any Entrant who does not comply with these Terms.

9. General Prize/Reward Conditions

9.1 Prizes and rewards are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash or any alternative, except at Crafter’s Companion's sole discretion.

9.2 Voucher prizes (Promotions A1, A2, and B) are subject to the terms and conditions of the voucher issuer, including any expiry date, minimum spend, or exclusions, provided to winners upon fulfilment.

9.3 Bonus points (Promotion C) are subject to the Crafter’s Companion's Club Inspire Loyalty Programme Terms and carry no cash value.

9.4 Crafter’s Companion is not responsible for costs, fees, or taxes associated with redeeming or using any prize or reward.

9.5 If a winner does not respond to notification within five [5] days, or does not meet eligibility criteria, Crafter’s Companion reserves the right to select an alternative winner at random, or withdraw the prize/reward entirely.

9.6 The Crafter’s Companion's decision on all matters relating to the Promotions, including winner selection, is final and binding.

9.7 One prize per person: Each individual may win a maximum of one (1) voucher prize across Promotions A1, A2, and B combined (i.e. an individual can win at most one of the three £150/$150 vouchers on offer, even if eligible entries are submitted to more than one). Where the same individual is selected as a winner in more than one of these draws, they will receive the prize for the draw in which they were first selected, and an alternative winner will be chosen at random for the other draw(s). This limit does not affect an individual's eligibility to separately win a reward under Promotion C.

10. Publicity

By accepting a prize or reward, winners (where permitted by law) consent to the use of their name, social media username, and comments regarding the Promotion by the Sponsor for promotional purposes, without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.

11. Data Protection

11.1 Personal data collected from Entrants (e.g. name, contact details, social media username, order details) will be used solely to administer the Promotions and, where consented to, for future marketing communications.

11.2 UK/EU Entrants: data will be processed in accordance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

11.3 US Entrants: data will be processed in accordance with applicable US state and federal privacy laws.

12. Limitation of Liability

12.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Sponsor accepts no responsibility or liability for: technical failures, errors, or interruptions affecting entry (including issues with Facebook, Instagram, or YouTube); loss or damage arising from participation or acceptance/use of a prize or reward; or lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, or corrupted entries/orders.

12.2 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud caused by the Sponsor's negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

13. General Conditions

13.1 The Sponsor reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel any Promotion at any time without prior notice, where circumstances arise outside its reasonable control.

13.2 The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any Entrant found tampering with the entry process for any Promotion.

13.3 These Terms constitute the entire agreement between Entrants and the Sponsor regarding the Promotions.

14. Governing Law

14.1 These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or the Promotions (including non-contractual disputes or claims), are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, regardless of an Entrant's country of residence.

14.2 The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Promotions.

14.3 For US Entrants, nothing in this Section 14 removes or limits any protection afforded to Entrants under mandatory consumer protection or other laws of their state of residence that cannot be excluded or restricted by agreement. Where any part of these Terms conflicts with such mandatory local law, the mandatory local law will apply to the extent of that conflict only, and the remainder of these Terms will continue to apply as written.
