Create A Flower Card With Dawn Macfie

Wow! Dawn Macfie has created a striking card using items from the Sheena Douglass’ ‘Create A Flower’ collection.

In this video, Dawn describes all the intricate processes that are involved in producing this stunning handmade card – sharing some really helpful hints along the way!

Instructions

Die cut 6 each of the medium and small balloon petals. Also, cut 2 of the medium pointed petals from matt black card.

Stamp the decorative patterned petals with a Versa Mark ink pad and heat emboss with a clear embossing powder.

Use the gilding wax to colour your petals and leaves.

Shape and assemble your flower, die cut a couple of mesh shapes from kraft card.

Make your card base and colour the background of the card with Aqua Tint pens and distress inks using the stencil from the collection.

Now attach your flower, leaves and background to create your finish card.
