How to Make It

Begin by cutting a piece of black card measuring 9" x 6" and fold it in half to create a 4½" x 3" card blank.

Die cut the rooftop section featuring Santa from white card, then cut the skyline section from Blue Centura Pearl card. Trim both pieces to fit your card front, overlapping them slightly to create a layered winter skyline.

Wrap a length of twine around the lower edge of the white panel before securing it to the card.

Use the Alphabet Die Set to spell your chosen name and adhere the letters onto a small strip of Blue Centura Pearl card to create a personalised name plaque.

Finally, die-cut two snowflakes from gold glitter card and the moon from white card using the skyline die, then arrange them across the sky.

How to Make It

Cut a piece of white card measuring 10½" x 6" and score along the shorter edge at 3½" and 7".

Trim the right-hand panel diagonally from the top corner down to approximately 1" from the bottom to create the wallet flap.

Secure the flap by adhering along the bottom edge and short side, then draw a stitched border using a black pen for a handcrafted finish.

Matt and layer red and white cardstock before die-cutting both sections of the Christmas scene into the white panel. Mount this onto the red layer.

Use the die to cut additional snowflakes and arrange them across the front for extra detail.

Stamp a festive sentiment from the Jolly Penguin Stamp Set, mount it onto glitter card and attach with foam pads before finishing with a decorative ribbon bow.

Project 3 – Slimline Christmas Card

How to Make It

Start with a 4" x 8" slimline card blank.

Create layered mats using black, red and white card to build depth across the card front.

Die cut the Santa rooftop scene from red cardstock and position it along the bottom of the design.

Next, cut the skyline die into white card and place it above the Santa scene to create a layered winter landscape.

Add extra die-cut snowflakes around the card to enhance the snowy effect.

Stamp your chosen festive greeting, mount it onto green card and attach it using foam pads.

How to Make It

Begin with a 5" x 5" white card blank.

Trim a second black card blank slightly smaller and adhere it inside the white card to create a contrasting background.

To create the pop-up mechanism, mark 1" in from each side along the centre fold of the black insert. Using a craft knife, cut vertical slits approximately 1" above and below the score line, then score between the cuts to create the pop-up tab.

Adhere the black insert inside the white card.

Die cut the Santa rooftop scene twice from white card and once from kraft card. Die cut the skyline twice from kraft card.

Decorate the front of the card by matting a black panel onto the card front before adding the trimmed skyline and Santa scene.

Inside the card, adhere the positive and negative skyline die cuts along the top and bottom edges to create a continuous panoramic effect.

Layer one of the white Santa scenes onto the kraft die cut before trimming it to fit the pop-up section and attaching it securely.

Add a hand-drawn stitched border around the panels before stamping a festive sentiment, matting it onto glitter card and adhering it inside the card.

Finish with additional snowflakes, gems and a ribbon bow to complete your interactive Christmas masterpiece.
