Two photographs
Step 1 – Create the Background
Begin by trimming a sheet of 12" x 12" Paper Pad to 11½" x 11½".
Mount this onto a full sheet of 12" x 12" White Card, leaving a crisp white border around the edge to frame your layout.
Step 2 – Prepare the Layered Panels
Trim a piece of White Cardstock to 10½" x 10½".
Next, cut the following pieces from your chosen patterned papers:
-
4" x 6"
-
5" x 5"
-
9½" x 3½"
-
9" x 3"
These layered panels will help create depth and guide the eye across your finished scrapbook page.
Step 3 – Add Stamped Details
Before attaching the patterned papers, decorate the 10½" x 10½" white panel.
Using the Sentiment Stamps, Black Ink Pad and a Stamping Block, stamp decorative images and sentiments around the page.
Leave an open area for handwritten journalling, adding neat guide lines with a ruler and a Black Artliner if desired.
Step 4 – Assemble the Layout
Arrange and adhere the patterned paper panels onto the stamped white cardstock until you're happy with the composition.
Once everything is in place, mount the completed panel onto the layered background you created in Step 1.
Step 5 – Add Your Photos
Mat two 3" x 4" photographs onto Pale Pink Linen Cardstock, trimming the mats to 3¼" x 4¼".
Position the photos over the patterned paper layers and adhere them securely, allowing the surrounding florals and stamped details to frame your memories beautifully.
Step 6 – Finish with Die-Cut Embellishments
Using the Gemini Midi, die cut a selection of embellishments using the coloured linen cardstock.
Arrange the gardening-themed die cuts around your photographs and journalling area, layering them where needed to add texture and dimension.
This charming scrapbook layout is a wonderful way to celebrate everything you love about the summer season, from colourful flowers and flourishing gardens to treasured days spent outdoors.
